Why We Wish We Bought This House:

Actors Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck sold their home to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. The house was reportedly sold at a loss: The former power couple listed their marital abode for $45 million, according to various reports, and sold it for $31.95 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Affleck and Garner had purchased the home for $17.55 million in 2009, according to Realtor.com.

A private sale that yielded no photos? Pffft. There might be a dearth of photos of this property, but descriptions alone would make a buyer listen in. For one, the property is huge. There are three buildings on the compound, and the house is 16,000 square feet and sits on 3.1 acres, according to a TMZ report, which stated the actual sale took place at the end of 2018.

According to various reports, the property contains several exciting recreational amenities, including a movie room, a gym, an art studio and an outdoor basketball court. Aerial photographs indicate the presence of at least one swimming pool. Reports also highlight a two-bedroom, three-bathroom guesthouse that ensures one’s guests get maximum privacy.

And let’s not forget: Pacific Palisades is a coastal neighborhood located close to popular destinations such as Santa Monica, Malibu, Sunset Strip and downtown Los Angeles. Whether one opts for privacy or a bustling social scene, this property offers dwellers the best of both worlds.
